So what plans do you have next week ?
MySQL will have an event for you regardless of your location next week.
We start the week off in Germany at the Spring International PHP Conference. (June 3rd - 6th). Ulf Wendel will be presenting two sessions: MySQL DB Cluster Usage made easy and Extending MySQL: developing Server Plugins.
June 5th we have Oracle's MySQL Innovation Day at the Oracle Conference Center. This event can be attended in person or via a webcast. The registration numbers are great so far so join everyone else who is attending and get an idea of what to expect at the MySQL Connect Conference this year.
June 6th The Atlanta MySQL user group allows me to present the latest on MySQL 5.6
We end the week in Charlotte North Carolina at the SouthEast LinuxFest (SELF) June 8th - 10th. This will be a great way to end the week. We have a MySQL Day on Friday that is packed with top MySQL presenters from Oracle and the MySQL Community including: Sheeri Cabral, Ronald Bradford, Peter Zaitsev, Baron Schwartz, Jeff Mace, Charles Bell, Craig Sylvester, Calvin Sun, Øystein Grøvlen, David Stokes and even myself.
Thanks to everyone for their support of MySQL and we look forward to seeing everyone at an event near you.

Bug.mysql.com and Contributions!
Oracle enhanced the bugs.mysql.com site to provide a better experience for users to submit contributions !
A new 'Contributions' tab has been added to the bugs.mysql.com user interface. This tab will allow users to have a defined space for their contributions. An Oracle Contributor Agreement (OCA) will still be required for all contributions. If needed, the OCA FAQ is posted here.
Please take advantage of this new feature when you help support and enhance MySQL !

Thanks to the NYC MySQL Community.
A big thanks to the NYC MySQL Community for a great turn out at the OTN MySQL Developer Days in NYC.
We had well over 200 people that stayed until the end. The attendees all enjoyed sessions that included MySQL Cluster, InnoDB as well as the different performance improvement sessions.
I hope they can join the rest of the MySQL Community for the MySQL Innovation Day (a web cast is available) and MySQL Connect.
